Chris Hemsworth shares video from 'Thor: Ragnarok' set

Chris Hemsworth has shared a short video of him arriving for his first day of filming 'Thor: Ragnarok', the third instalment in the 'Thor' film series, on Instagram

Los Angeles: Chris Hemsworth has shared a short video of him arriving for his first day of filming 'Thor: Ragnarok', the third instalment in the 'Thor' film series, on Instagram.





The actor, who essays Thor in the franchise, also gave followers a quick look around the filming set. The 32-year-old actor jokingly showed a roller coaster he got as one of the "perks of being Thor", reports aceshowbiz.com.

"Here we are, beginning of shooting for 'Thor 3' at the studios," Hemsworth said.

"Got my shake, got my shoes, and as requested, got my roller coaster. It's just some of the perks that come with being Thor. See you later," he added.

He also wrote in the caption of the video: "'Thor 3' has begun". He added the hashtags "wheresmyhammer" "thor3" and "rollercoastersrock".

'Thor: Ragnarok' also stars Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba and Anthony Hopkins, who reprise their respective roles from 'Thor: The Dark World'. Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban and Mark Ruffalo are also joining the cast.

Taika Waititi is directing the film from a screenplay by Stephany Folsom. The film is based on characters created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby.

'Thor: Ragnarok' hits US theaters on July 28, 2017.
