30th Screen Actors Guild Awards: In 2023, the Screen Actors Guild faced challenges, including a 118-day strike and negotiations with the AMPTP led by President Fran Drescher. The 2024 SAG Awards now provide an opportunity for the actors union to celebrate.

The film nominations are dominated by the 'Barbenheimer' phenomenon, with both 'Barbie' and 'Oppenheimer' receiving four nominations each. TV series 'Succession' leads with five nominations. The awards ceremony will be held at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall and will be streamed live on Netflix at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on Sunday.
