Actor Jackie Shroff has approached the Delhi High Court to seek protection of his personality and publicity rights on May 14. The suit has been filed against entities for unauthorized use of his name, photographs, voice, and the iconic term "Bhidu." Shroff is asking the court to stop these parties from using any part of his identity that makes him unique, as this could confuse or deceive people. On Tuesday, Justice Sanjeev Narula took up the case and issued summons related to Shroff`s request. The actor is requesting a permanent injunction to prevent the defendants from violating his personality and publicity rights by using his name `Jackie Shroff`, `Jackie`, `Jaggu Dada`, `Bhidu`, as well as his voice, image, and any other unique attributes associated with him, for any commercial or personal benefit.
