Rajiv Kapoor, legendary actor Raj Kapoor’s son passed away on Tuesday (9 February) morning. He passed away after suffering a heart attack at his residence in Chembur, Mumbai. Neetu Kapoor, wife of late Rishi Kapoor paid her last respect to the departed soul.
Neetu's son Ranbir Kapoor and Randhir's daughter Karisma Kapoor were also seen at Rajiv's residence in Chembur. Known by his nickname Chimpu in Bollywood, he shot to fame with his starring role in Raj Kapoor's 1985 blockbuster Ram Teri Ganga Maili co-starring Mandakini. His other notable works include Lava, Zalzala and Zabardast.
Rajiv Kapoor was the youngest of late legend Raj Kapoor's three sons, and the younger brother of Randhir Kapoor (in the picture) and late Rishi Kapoor.
Bollywood celebrities like Lata Mangeshkar, Sunny Deol. Manoj Kumar, and Neetu Kapoor paid their respects and remembered the actor on social media. His sister-in-law, actress Neetu Kapoor shared a picture of Rajiv and paid her respects on her Instagram account.

Ashutosh Gowariker expressed his condolences and reminisced the bond with the veteran actor Rajiv Kapoor, post his sad demise. Sharing his thoughts and remembering the actor, Ashutosh Gowariker shared an emotional note on social media.
Tara Sutaria also came in to pay her respects to Rajiv Kapoor at his residence in Chembur.
