After the Irrfan Khan-starrer Karwaan (2018) and The Zoya Factor (2019) with Sonam K Ahuja, Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan is said to have given his nod to his third Bollywood outing.

The south star has been roped in by R Balki for a thriller, a genre the filmmaker is keen to explore. Knowing Balki’s penchant for casting Amitabh Bachchan in his films, we can safely assume that Big B will also be part of the project in some capacity.

The 33-year-old actor, known for films like Ok Kanmani and Bangalore Days, believes only good content can push him to say yes to a project regardless of the language.

In an interview earlier, Dulquer shared, "The content is strong in Malayalam cinema. Irrespective of whatever film I do in whichever language, it should have strong content. I get excited by good stories. It would be nice if I annually get to do films in Tamil and Hindi because I enjoy different cultures and languages and each language has its own beauty. Films have to appeal to that particular market to which we are catering to."

Dulquer Salmaan will also be seen in a Tamil film, Hey Sinamika, alongside Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari, and a Malayalam film Kurup in 2021.
