The love story between a human and an AI may not seem plausible, but it sure is fodder for stories. Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is sparking rumours of a sequel even before the film’s final box office reports are out. A source claims that the sequel could feature Janhvi Kapoor, who was added in the post-credit scene. “It seeds the possibility of a sequel. Janhvi is a human who attempts to charm Shahid’s [character], as Sifra [Sanon] feels slighted. In the sequel, the story could explore the consequences of what the humanoid robot did. As she attempts a human relationship,” informs the source. He adds that the film could be developed as a love triangle.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya 2 could continue to explore themes of love, identity, and the evolving relationship between humans and technology, shares the informant. “As [Shahid and Kriti’s] unconventional relationship unfolds, societal reactions and ethical dilemmas could come into play. It could delve deeper into the complexities of their bond by revealing challenges they face as they navigate a world where love transcends traditional norms,” explains the source, adding that [producer] Dinesh Vijan believes that the stories have potential for more.
