On Friday, Shah Rukh Khan clocked 29 years in the industry. His debut, Raj Kanwar’s Deewana, released on June 25, 1992. King Khan expressed gratitude to fans for their unending love and support. “Been working. Just saw the ‘overwhelmedness’ of the love of nearly 30 years you are showering on me. Realised that it’s more than half my life in the service of hoping to entertain you all,” the superstar, 55, posted.

To mark the occasion, he interacted with fans on Twitter. Khan, who has been away from the big screen after the debacle of Zero (2018), said that he is presently in the “rebuilding phase of life.” He gave a hilarious response when asked when he’s planning to announce his next film. “Loudspeakers make announcements. I will gently allow my films to enter your hearts... soon.”  When asked about his health, he quipped, “Not as amazing as John Abraham but holding my own… haha.” A clear indication that he has been working with his 'Pathan' co-star.

Known as King Khan of Bollywood, the 55-year-old star started his acting journey with television shows 'Fauji' and 'Circus' before making a spectacular film debut with 'Deewana' in 1992. The superstar has since featured in blockbusters and critical hits like 'Chamatkar', 'Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman', 'Darr', 'Baazigar', 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', 'Dil To Pagal Hai', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Devdas', 'Swades', 'Kal Ho Naa Ho', 'Chak De! India', 'Main Hoon Na', 'My Name is Khan' and 'Chennai Express'.
