Shah Rukh Khan turns a year older today. The superstar is being flooded with wishes on social media by fans, colleagues, friends and family. The actor who has been ruling the Hindi film industry for over three decades now has worked with several directors, actors, and  technicians. Every person who has worked with him has a story to share. On his 58th birthday, here's how his colleagues and friends from the industry are wishing him. 


Filmmaker Farah Khan who has directed Khan in films like 'Main Hoon Na', 'Om Shaanti Om', 'Happy New Year' was at his home, Mannat at midnight and captured the fan craze outside his house.  The filmmakers shared a video shot from Mannat's balcony of Khan waving at the sea of crowd gathered to greet him. Fans were seen standing outside holding banners and flashlights to wish their favourite star.

Ajay Devgn also took to his X handle to wish the 'Pathaan' star. Sharing a still of SRK from 'Jawan', he wrote, "Here's to another fantastic year of being Jawan and fabulous! Happy Birthday".

Kajol, who shares an amazing chemistry with SRK on screen and is a great friend off-screen shared a sweet wish for the actor. "Wish u a Supercalifrangilistic year ahead …  I know it’s gonna be a good one!"

Meanwhile, like every year, fans gathered outside SRK's house to wish him in large numbers. The 'Pathaan' star later took to his X(formerly Twitter) handle to thank fans for wishing him and turning up in large numbers. "It’s unbelievable that so many of u come & wish me late at night. I am but a mere actor. Nothing makes me happier, than, the fact that I can entertain u a bit. I live in a dream of your love. Thank u for allowing me to entertain you all. C u in the morning…on the screen & off it," he wrote. 

SRK's charismatic personality radiates in the massive fan following. The superstar has given the audience memorable films like 'Baazigar', 'Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na', 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Kal Ho Naa Ho', 'Veer Zara', and many more.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is riding on the success of two mammoth blockbusters 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan' and is gearing up for the release of his next 'Dunki', which is scheduled to release this December.

In the Rajkumar Hirani directorial, the 'Chak De! India' actor will share the screen with 'Pink' actress Tapsee Pannu for the first time.

The movie marks the first collaboration of the 'Swades' actor with the '3 Idiots' director.
