Going beyond singles, we are all set to witness a song that will have passion and grandeur, both. Mouni Roy and Aly Goni are collaborating for a song called ‘Jodaa’, and going by the first look that the actress has shared on her Instagram account, it seems it’s going to be a sweeping melody with gorgeous visuals.

Roy has described the song as an epic story of a broken heart, and commenting with fire emoji was Aly Goni himself. Have a look at her post right here:

The story, screenplay, and direction have been handled by Jatinder Shah and so is the music. The lyrics have been penned by Maninder Kailey, and it has been sung by Afsana Khan.

Interestingly, the 'Jodaa' poster has come at a time when Mouni is in the news for her impending marriage with rumoured boyfriend Suraj Nambiar. Coming to Mouni Roy’s professional front, she’s gearing up for Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ that also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt. She has acted in films like ‘Gold’ and ‘Made In China’ before.

For the uninitiated, Roy was in Dubai last year and wasn’t able to travel back to India due to the lockdown restrictions. In an interview, Mouni spoke about how her brief visit to the UAE lasted for over seven months, and how she managed to travel to three countries - UAE, UK and the Maldives - amid the pandemic. First, Mouni Roy had travelled to UAE in March to spend some time with her sister and her family, and thanks to the coronavirus outbreak, ended up staying there for over seven months. She then travelled from Abu Dhabi to the UK and Dubai for work.
