Ranbir Kapoor celebrates his 39th birthday on September 28, and to get the party going, the birthday boy and girlfriend Alia Bhatt have taken off to Jodhpur. Shutterbugs spotted the couple at the airport while they were on their way to the beautiful blue city.

The couple was spotted in their most comfy, easy-breezy outfits, perfect for travel. While Alia Bhatt looked fresh in her blue baggy jeans, a blue T-shirt and green denim jacket, Ranbir opted for a tracksuit.

While Ranbir Kapoor will ring in his 39th birthday in Jodhpur with Alia, speculations are being made that perhaps the couple is also scouting for a grand wedding venue. There has been buzz that the couple might tie the knot soon, and so, fans are wondering if it might just happen this year.
Speaking about his much-awaited wedding with Alia, Ranbir had shared in an interview with Rajeev Masand that the wedding could've taken place already had the pandemic not hit. "I don't want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life," he said.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be sharing screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukerji's sci-fi epic fantasy 'Brahmastra'. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia, and Mouni Roy.
Besides 'Brahmastra', Alia also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', the Telugu film 'RRR', 'Darlings', and 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'. Ranbir, on the other hand, has 'Shamshera' and Luv Ranjan's yet untitled action thriller.
