Key Highlights

  2. The couple wore Manish Malhotra outfits for their big day
  3. Parineeti`s kaleeras have a special meaning behind them

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got married on Sunday at the Leela Palace in Udaipur in the presence on family and friends. The couple shared the official first pictures on Monday morning and their wedding looked nothing short of dreamy. The two wore outfits created by Manish Malhotra.

Parineeti Chopra  dazzled in a champagne coloured lehenga for the wedding while Raghav opted for an ivory coloured sherwani. For her big day, Parineeti had her traditional kaleeras customised. Mrinalini Chandra made the bridal kaleras for Parineeti based on her requirement.

Talking to Peepingmoon.com, Mrinalini revealed the details of the kaleeras. “It was an absolute joy making bespoke Kaliras for Parineeti. Her impeccable taste and discerning eye made the creative process a true delight for us. We were inspired by her vision and were honored to bring it to life in the most extraordinary way possible. Her vivacious energy and faith in us made this a very special journey, and I’m elated to share how each motif unfolds," she shared.

"The story of Parineeti & Raghav is truly a modern-day fairytale, the most organic and beautiful coming together of two worlds that are wide apart yet equally complex. She chose each and every element, ensuring that they symbolize her journey with Raghav in the most love-filled way. At first glance, the Kaleera appears to be dainty ornaments cascading from the bangle. However, its true beauty lies in the underlying story it conveys—a tale of love. The design of these Kaliras is very special. Each motif represents a moment of serendipity, a chance encounter when their paths crossed in a cosmic dance," she added.

Meanwhile, Manish Malhotra took to his social media to share details of the outfit worn by the bride. "Our gorgeous #ManishMalhotraBride @parineetichopra exudes regal grace in our exquisitely hand-crafted wedding ensemble, which took 2500 hours to create. The beautiful tonal ecru base is adorned with intricate hand embroidery, using vintage gold thread in a mesmerising linear geometric pattern. Nakshi and metal sequins add a touch of elegance, perfectly complementing the delicate mesh #mmblouse and tulle framework dupatta, each embellished with fair-sized pearls. Adding a personalised touch, our signature tulle #MMveil features her handsome groom, Raghav's name in Devanagari script, created with the artistry of badla work reflecting their deep-rooted love," he wrote.
