Srivastava was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after he suffered a heart attack on August 10. Krushna Abhishek paid tribute in a conversation with mid-day.com

Popular comedian-actor Raju Srivastava passed away at the age of 58 on Wednesday. The comedian who suffered a heart attack on August 10 was in the hospital ever since. 


His colleague on various projects, popular actor Krushna Abhishek paid tribute to Srivastava in a conversation with mid-day.com, he said, "It's really shocking, I had been praying for him. I thought he will recover after suffering the heart attack. I recall, I started my career as an assistant to Lawrence D'souza, as an 18 year old and Rajuji had acted in that film. Our connection dates back to that time. We went on to do so many television and live shows together. He was genuinely a nice person, my condolences to the family."
