The 54th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will be hosted in Goa from November 20 to 28, and will see Shahid Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Pankaj Tripathi, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and singers Shreya Ghoshal and Sukhwinder Singh headline the opening ceremony

The 54th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will be hosted in Goa from November 20 to 28, and will see Shahid Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Pankaj Tripathi, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and singers Shreya Ghoshal and Sukhwinder Singh headline the opening ceremony. Over 250 films are set to be showcased across the various sections of the festival, which will be held at Shamaprasad Indoor Stadium, Panaji.

After Kennedy, Rahul Bhat is teaming up with director Vikramaditya Motwane for the screen adaptation of the 2019 book, Black Warrant: Confessions of a Tihar Jailer, by journalist Sunetra Choudhury and former Tihar Jail superintendent, Sunil Gupta. Mid-day hears that Bhat has already commenced shooting for the project in Mumbai.

Sting, Jonas Brothers and One Republic are set to perform at Lollapalooza India in 2024, the organisers said yesterday. The two-day festival will be held at Mahalaxmi Race Course on January 27 and 28. The festival will also feature gigs by American popstar Halsey, English alternative rock band Keane, and Ari Staprans Leff aka Lauv. Anoushka Shankar will also be part of the international line-up of artistes. Lollapalooza India has also scheduled performances by Indian bands The Raghu Dixit Project and When Chai Met Toast.
