Though South director Atlee is shooting for his Shah Rukh Khan-starrer in utmost secrecy, the film’s title has leaked online. A letter seeking permission to park the unit vehicles at the upcoming Sant Tukaram Nagar Metro station in Pune is doing the rounds. It names the project Lion. Speculation is rife that Atlee has decided on the title as SRK shot with South actors Nayanthara and Priyamani at the location. The letter also sought approval for setting up a food station for unit hands and a counter for the costumes. King Khan’s fans are celebrating as they consider him the king of Bollywood. His Siddharth Anand’s directorial venture is called Pathan. They point out that both titles are apt for King Khan.
Degree despite dropping out of college
Late Irrfan’s son, Babil Khan, has received his graduation degree from the University of Westminster in the UK despite dropping out of college earlier this year. He had chosen to quit studies to pursue acting. Babil shared a picture of the certificate and wrote, “Somehow I’ve managed to drop out and get my degree.” Netizens wondered how he had pulled it off and if they could do the same. Babil features in Anushka Sharma’s production, Qala. He is also part of Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming project.

Friendships in the digital world
On Thursday, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar announced their next production, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, Adarsh Gourav and Ananya Panday. The coming-of-age story of three friends in Mumbai marks the directorial debut of Arjun Varain Singh. The film revolves around growing up in the digital age. Chaturvedi and Panday also feature in Shakun Batra’s untitled next alongside Deepika Padukone. Gourav got noticed in The White Tiger.
Shilpa on a spiritual trek
Shilpa Shetty Kundra was spotted at Mumbai airport on her way to Jammu to visit the Vaishnodevi shrine. Her divine call comes in the wake of Mumbai police filing a charge sheet against husband Raj Kundra, which includes her statement that she was unaware of his activities as she was busy with her work. The actor undertook the journey from Katra to the temple on horseback and kept chanting, “Jai Mata di.” She told local media persons, “It was due to the calling of the goddess that I came to pay obeisance to her.”
The dark side of life
Raghav Juyal, Sanjay Mishra and Ranvir Shorey have teamed up for Hasal, which goes on floors in December. Ravi Singh’s directorial venture, a light-hearted drama, will be shot in Varanasi. Singh said the film explores the dark side of a human being. Mishra and Shorey were earlier seen together in Nila Madhab Panda’s critically-acclaimed Kadvi Hawa (2017).

Court restraint on selling Dubai villa
In the ongoing tussle between Honey Singh and wife Shalini Talwar, a Delhi court has restrained the rapper from selling his overseas assets. It follows Talwar’s revelation that Singh has a villa in Dubai, which he purchased for her through one of his companies incorporated abroad. She claimed that he had executed a power of attorney in 2019, in her favour, giving her rights and control over it. Talwar filed a domestic violence case against the singer last month.
Not without Tabu
Vishal Bhardwaj is working with favourite actor Tabu again for Khufiya after Maqbool (2004) and Haider (2014). The espionage thriller, based on Amar Bhushan’s novel, Escape to Nowhere, is about a RAW agent assigned to track down the mole selling the country’s defence secrets while grappling with her dual identity of spy and lover. “It is always a delight working with VB again and feels like homecoming,” Tabu said. The Netflix film also stars Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi and Ashish Vidyarthi. Tabu is also part of Bhardwaj’s son Aasmaan’s directorial debut, Kuttey.

Fan trouble
Animal rights activists are up in arms against a fan group of Rajinikanth, who sprinkled goat blood on the poster of his upcoming film, Annathae. They have called out the fans for their ‘obnoxious way of appeasing the South icon’. A video doing the rounds showed people slaying a goat and sprinkling its blood on the poster. Some die-hard fans had also sacrificed goats to ensure the success of Rajinikanth’s 2016 film Kabali.
