Bappi Lahiri’s Juhu home is bedecked for Christmas. The veteran singer-composer and grandson Swastik Bansal aka Rego B, a budding singer, will be ringing in the festival by belting out Yuletide carols.

A decade of the coolest baddie
To mark a decade since the release of the Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra-starrer Don 2, producer-director Farhan Akhtar reminisced about “how Don gave bad guys a lesson in how to be the worst of them and only SRK could bring this level of cool to him”. Akhtar added that he loved making the film and the opening sequence in particular, “which would set the tone for what’s to follow”. He remembered the late Om Puri, who was part of the cast, but there was no mention of PeeCee.
Sush, Rohman part ways
On Thursday, Sushmita Sen confirmed the buzz that she and model beau Rohman Shawl have gone their separate ways. “We began as friends, we remain friends. The relationship was long over… the love remains,” she posted. The couple was together for over three years and connected on social media.

Kareena Kapoor Khan shared her quarantine essentials while in isolation after contracting the Coronavirus. Sunny Deol is “feeling blessed” to complete the first schedule of Anil Sharma’s Gadar 2. The long-in-the-planning sequel to the 2001 blockbuster rolled earlier this month in Himachal Pradesh. “Only a fortunate few get to bring amazing characters back to life. Presenting Tara Singh 20 years later,” wrote Deol while sharing a glimpse of his look in the film co-starring Ameesha Patel.

Indian Idol 12 finalist Sayli Kamble got engaged to long-time beau Dhawal. The Mumbai-based singer had made her relationship Instagram official in September. The couple plans to tie the knot by mid-2022. Indian Idol 12 contestants Nihal Tauro, Nachiket Lele and Anjali Gaikwad attended the ceremony.
Nakuul tests positive
Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 actor Nakuul Mehta tested positive for COVID-19. He is self-isolating at home and binging on digital shows, listening to podcasts, eating homemade warm meals, and consuming the required medicines “as I take on the mantle of beating COVID-19. We shall overcome,” Mehta wrote.
Badhaai ho badhaai
Dil Hi Toh Hai actor Gurpreet Bedi tied the knot with Kapil Arya in Karjat. Industry colleagues, including Varun Badola, Rajeshwari Sachdev and Rohan Pherwani, attended the festivities. Arya featured in Jag Jaanani Maa Vaishnodevi — Kahani Mata Rani Ki, X Zone and CID.
