Boman Irani says, “I was not a pet lover, I’ve been bitten too many times as a kid because we had dogs in the compound that were ferocious and it was petrifying. However, it was like an unspoken caviar with my wife Zenobia. When I visited her house the first time, she said - 'You love me, you got to love my dog first.’ So I said ‘I love dogs. End of story.’ The moment Lisa came into my life, it calmed me as a human being and made me more sensitive. How do they know youre upset or not well? How do they figure these things out. That antenna of theirs is so alive."

Mini Mathur and husband Kabir Khan are pet parents to their husky, Blue Khan. Mini told mid-day.com, “Blue is an excellent soccer player. He can play football, he can dive, he can dodge, he can kick, so he would definitely be playing in one of the stadiums. I can’t tell you how many dog whisperers I’ve called and said ‘I want to know what he’s thinking. When he looks at me what is he thinking!’ I haven’t gotten satisfactory answers yet but if he could talk, since he’s an old soul in a small dogs body, way beyond his mature years, so I’m sure he thinks I’m pretty ridiculous. All of us are pretty nutty and I’m sure we would get an earful if he could speak.”
