Akshay Kumar who has been filming for Ranjit Tiwari’s psychological thriller in London with Rakul Preet Singh, is all set to fly to India over the weekend. However, midday.com has learnt he won’t be heading to Mumbai and will fly straight to Delhi where he resumes the shoot of Aanand L Rai’s ‘Raksha Bandhan’ with Bhumi Pednekar.

Akshay had returned to Mumbai on September 6, after his mother, Aruna Bhatia was admitted at a hospital in Mumbai. Two days later, his mother passed away and the actor after completing the last rites returned to London on September 10, in order to not cause delays to shoot.

Sources reveal, besides pivotal scenes, Akshay will also be shooting some important songs for 'Raksha Bandhan', in the upcoming schedule.
