I have just newly taken up reading as a past-time. And I have learnt that it is another amazing way of getting away from reality and escaping into a different world.

I like reading intense novels and books with morals. Also, books on life experiences of different people are something I enjoy reading. I like to learn from every book I read.

I like novels which give me a different perspective on life. My favourite book so far is Tuesdays with Morrie. The book taught me a lot about life.

Also, there is this book that my mom gave me called Tea Rose. It's an intense love story based in London during the World War.

Jennifer Donnelly, the author of Tea Rose, has the ability to pull the reader into the plot as she spins her story. You feel the hope, despair, loneliness, happiness and love that the characters experience.

I would recommend everyone to read this book. Right now, I am reading Kanika Dhillon's Bombay Duck is a Fish. The book reminds me of our Om Shanti Om days.

How things seemed different at that time, as I was new to the glamorous world. I too was smitten by every aspect of Bollywood.
