Having returned only last night, Pancholi — whose passport had previously been deposited at the British passport office for an extension of work permit — confirmed the news to mid-day. A source close to the production tells mid-day of the Stanley D'costa-directed venture, "While filming was to commence in April, it did so only in June due to the weather conditions. While the unit had their papers in place, they had to accordingly apply for an extended stay in the UK, given the delay. In a bid to do so, they deposited their passports, hopeful that it would be returned in time. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Sooraj, Stanley, the director of photography and a few other crew members were stranded."

Sooraj's father Aditya Pancholi is relieved that his son is home. "Bhushan Kumar and Kishan Kumar are among the most organised producers. They ensured the actors were taken care of. When stranded in London, Stanley even shot portions of the film that were to be filmed indoors in Mumbai." Pancholi reveals that the schedule had been deferred from April since the unit needed to film in favourable weather conditions, as it would be economical. "Sooraj's next film is kicking off in September, so he had to come back soon." Sooraj adds, "We got our passports on Thursday. Stanley will return today." Bhushan Kumar and co-producer Remo D'Souza remained unavailable for a comment.
