But the former Pakistan cricket captain and bowling coach of Shah Rukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders team now has yet another link with Bollywood. Akram's current girlfriend Humaima Mallick is now B-Town bound.

"I am currently looking at a Bollywood project, with which I will surprise my fans," confirms Humaima.

India release
Her debut Pakistani film Bol is set to release in India on August 31. A model and television actress, Humaima considers the movie as her big ticket to stardom.

Bol is directed by Shoaib Mansoor, who earlier made the critically acclaimed Khuda Ke Liye, which starred Naseeruddin Shah and Pakistani actors Shaan and Iman Ali. Humaima has Pakistani singer Atif Aslam (Doorie, Tere Liye) as her co-star in Bol.

Age differences
Earlier in the year, she admitted to dating Akram despite the age difference between the two. She is in her mid-20s while the former cricketer is in his 40s.

She claimed to have known Akram's wife Huma who passed away in 2009 after a prolonged illness. Humaima was earlier married to Pakistani TV actor-director Shamoon Abbasi.

Bol, which released in Pakistan in June, is now looking at a worldwide release.
