The 38-second motion poster reveals the logo and the release date of the film.

'Ghayal Once Again' will hit the screens on January 15, 2016.

Earlier, Sunny, who was keen to release the sequel to his 1990 blockbuster 'Ghayal' during the festive season, was up against Salman Khan's 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'. However, the actor pushed the release of his directorial venture forward. (Read the full story)

There was buzz that 'Ghayal Once Again' may clash with Akshay Kumar's 'Airlift'. (Read more) However, the clash seems to have been averted as 'Airlift' is likely to release on January 22.

Directed by Sunny Deol and produced by Dharmendra, 'Ghayal Once Again' will take off from where the first version left. Reportedly, the film is based on a real-life event in the life of a Mumbai Police encounter specialist.

The film also features Soha Ali Khan, Om Puri, Prachi Desai and Tisca Chopra.
