Sajid Nadiadwala is on a success spree with a hat-trick of hit films under his belt in 2016.

The filmmaker is known for his goodwill in the industry along with delivering back-to-back hits. He has had B-Town bigwigs star in his films and launched GenNext stars.
Nadiadwala kickstarted the year with the hit film Baaghi starring Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor and Sudheer Babu. He followed it up with Housefull 3, which featured Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon. His latest hit under the Nadiadwala Grandson banner is Dishoom starring John Abraham, Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshaye Khanna.
The filmmaker had a similar stroke of luck in 2014 too, when films such as Highway, 2 States, Heropanti and Kick made under his banner reigned at the box office and won audience’s heart.
Nadiadwala not only backs a good script with his expertise, but provides a platform to newbies to explore their talent.
Trade expert Taran Adarsh says, “With three hits in the first seven months of the year, Sajid is undoubtedly producer No 1. His vision is fantastic. He understands what his directors want. He gives a larger-than-life feel to his films, be it the way action scenes in Baaghi were shot or in Dishoom, which is a glossy film. Sajid understands what the masses want. He is a pure entertainer.”
Trade analyst Amul Mohan says, “Sajid is one of the most enterprising producers today, and his steady rise is enviable. He is one of the few producers to have changed with time and he constantly remains a step ahead of the game.”
