Oil that matters

Many would die for her luscious locks, but actor Deepal Shaw says that she owes her healthy hair to regular oiling. She shares her hair care secrets with CS+ve.

Hair and more
For me my long hair is my identity. I do not experiment with my hair too much. Too much use of chemicals and treatments can completely spoil the natural texture of your hair. And you will only end up spending more money, to regain your natural hair quality.

Take care
A good head massage is very necessary to improve blood circulation and give your hair its natural lustre. Also a healthy diet is also a must for me. Lots of green vegetables and biotin capsules are a regular part of my diet. Beetroot juice helps too.

But naturally
I prefer natural remedies over chemical treatments as they are safer. I deep condition my hair twice a week. I mostly braid my hair as its hip length and prone to tangling. And I'm not too fond of the comb, I just brush my hair once a day as too much brushing also results in hair fall.

Protect it
I apply serum before leaving home as it protects my hair and prevents the pollutants from settling in. I always have a scarf over my head to protect my hair from the sun. The hot sun can be a major cause of dandruff, hair fall, split ends, etc. So to protect your hair from the harsh sun, it is important to take precaution and eat right.
