Taking inspiration from the lush green surroundings of the season, Vineet's show had a riot of colours (yellow, almond, Ivory and green), beautiful detailing (filigree jalli work, applique and zardozi) and the warmth of the season. The collection included free-flowing kaftans, tunics and knot sequence dresses.
The line-up of saris shone through the collection, and even though model Tina Chatwal had a tough time donning one (see pic), the rest of the model clan managed to carry it off with grace.

White call
Titled Mystical Weaves, Manish Gupta's show started with model Jesse Randhawa donning a halter white short dress with minimum detailing. This pretty much gave a peep into what was in store.
Manish stuck to the basics and only experimented with a dash of colour, here and there. So, white gave way to mild yellow, crepe and so on.
This apart, the basic, straight cuts were something noteworthy as Manish gave it a twist with stylishly-woven silhouettes, overlapping pleats and artistic motifs.
A bit of experimentation would have been better, yet Manish's designs were highly wearable.
