Tennis champ Leander Paes's B-Town debut has apparently got a fresh lease of life. The long-delayed project helmed by producer-director Ashok Kohli, which was put on the backburner, is back on track
The sportsman had begun shooting for the social satire that mirrors contemporary Indian society last year.

Says a source, “Manoj Kejriwal the co-producer and original investor of the film has stepped in to complete the necessary formalities and ensure that the film sees light of day. The film’s first copy will be out shortly.”
Confirms Kohli, “Yes, things are moving with Manoj back on the scene. We expect the first copy by mid-September.” Paes, who had been receiving acting offers for a while, had chosen this film for his debut due to its slice-of-life subject. Despite his packed tennis commitments, he had taken time out for the shoot.
Adds the source, “In the last few months, Paes was busy with the Olympics preparations and his other tournaments, so the makers did not want to disturb him. Now hopefully he can take time out again.”
