It was difficult working in 'Not A Love Story': Mahi Gill

Actress Mahi Gill, who is playing the lead in "Not A Love Story" based on the gruesome murder of TV executive Neeraj Grover, revealed that it was very difficult for her to work on the film.

A bold new Mahi Gill!

"Not a Love Story", directed by Ram Gopal Varma is a crime thriller based on the murder of Neeraj Grover in 2008 that led to the arrest of Emile Jerome and Maria Susairaj.

"It was very difficult working on this film. Initially it was still okay because I had to do the role of a girl who is struggling in the industry.

I have done that too because I came from the Punjabi film industry, but the later half when the murder takes place, it was quite difficult," Mahi told reporters here.

"We were shooting in the same building where the case happened, so it was creepy at times to realise that how it would have been when this crime would have happened in such a small room.

We used to talk about all these things," she said. The film also stars Deepak Dobriyal and Ajay Gehi and is slated to release Aug 19.

Although it was challenging, but when this role was offered to Mahi, she jumped to it.

"I wanted to work with Ramu sir. I love his films so when I got a call from his office and he told me about the film, I didn't ask any question and said yes. I just wanted to do it," she revealed.
