Amitabh Bachchan made some wisecracks at the launch of 'Aankhen 2' on Wednesday. When asked why Arjun Rampal has been retained and not Akshay Kumar if the sequel takes the story forward, the veteran star promptly replied, "He is busy making Crack"

Amitabh Bachchan made some wisecracks at the launch of 'Aankhen 2' on Wednesday. When asked why Arjun Rampal has been retained and not Akshay Kumar if the sequel takes the story forward, the veteran star promptly replied, "He is busy making Crack".

Crack is Akki's next with Neeraj Pandey and Big B's answer had the audience exchange stares and smiles. When the same question was posed to director Anees Bazmee, he said, "The story moves forward for which only Amitabh Bachchan and Arjun Rampal’s characters were required and the other character dies in the first part."

Was Akshay approached for the film, he responded in the negative, adding that the actor is "very busy doing so many projects". Interestingly, Arshad Warsi has replaced Akshay in the sequel. Remember how the Khiladi has been cast in 'Jolly LLB 2', the first part of which belonged to Arshad Warsi? Scores levelled.
