While Anushka Sharma continues to deny being in a relationship with Ranveer Singh despite evidence to the contrary, she did admit to having a boyfriend in the past on Simi Garewal's chat show.

We researched a bit more and found out a few things about Anushka's blast from the past.

The man in question is Zoheb Yusuf. A friend of Anushka on the condition of anonymity spills the beans: "Zoheb, fondly called as Zo by his friends, is a ramp model."

The 20-something commerce graduate was born in Bombay, but grew up in Bangalore. He went to a boarding school in Ooty.

The source adds, "Anushka met Zo in Bangalore during her modelling days and hit it off very well with him. They dated for more than two years and were pretty serious about each other.

They moved to Mumbai together to try their luck in Bollywood and modelling. While Anushka got her lucky break with Yash Raj, the city wasn't that kind to Zo.

Finding it difficult to live in Mumbai, he eventually went back to Bangalore.

Since the long-distance relationship was taking a toll on them, they mutually decided to call it quits. Their break-up was not bitter and they are still in touch.

Anushka and Zoheb remained unavailable for comments.
