Sanjay Gupta and Anu Malik have teamed up again after over a decade
The filmmaker has roped in the music composer for his forthcoming film starring John Abraham, Anil Kapoor and Kangna Ranaut.

Anu was surprised to receive a call from Sanjay yesterday requesting him to score the music. Says Gupta, “I told Anu that he needs to be out of his self-imposed exile and hibernation. I need some rocking tunes for my film.” Anu had scored the music for Sanjay’s earlier films like Khauff (2000) and Hameshaa (1997).
Says Anu, “Sanjay showed me parts of the film and I have already begun work on it. It’s a challenge to score music for the gangster genre of the film. It’s something that excited me. Moreover I share a fantastic rapport with the film’s co-producer Ekta Kapoor as well.”u00a0Apart from being a judge on an ongoing music reality show, Anu is also scoring the music for Anil Sharma’s Sunny Deol starrer as well as a film that stars newbies Nazia Hussain and Aditya Samanta.
