The first image of Anil's character of Mr Mehra from the Zoya Akhtar-directed film has been released and it shows the 58-year-old actor posing on a yacht wearing a stripped blue suit and rocking his grey-haired look.

"Meet the super cool suave and dashing Mr Mehra #DilDhadakneDo @AnilKapoor," producer Ritesh Sidwani posted on Twitter alongside the picture.

Anil is playing father to Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh's characters in the film, which revolves around a dysfunctional Punjabi family on a cruise trip.

'Dil Dhadakne Do' also stars Anushka Sharma, Shefali Shah, Farhan Akhtar and is expected to hit theatres in June this year.

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta and actor Riteish Deshmukh praised Anil's new look.

"The one and only.. The inimitable," Gupta posted on twitter.

While Riteish tweeted, "ZHAKAASSSS @ritesh_sid @AnilKapoor (sic)."
