'Welcome Back', the sequel to 2007 action comedy 'Welcome', may have hit theatres only four days ago, but its opening weekend collections seems to have prompted the makers to plan a third instalment titled 'Welcome To The Jungle'. However, sources say director Anees Bazmee, who helmed the first two parts, wouldn't be associated with the next sequel.

A well-placed source requesting anonymity says the proposed film will be produced by Eros International and Firoz Nadiadwala, adding: "They developed the idea of a third film during the promotions of Welcome Back. Anil Kapoor has already given his nod to the film. Anees has not been approached for the project although he is aware of it. The makers are willing to get a young director to helm the second sequel."

Sources close to Bazmee reveal that he would not have been interested to direct this film anyway. "He had issues with the makers over payment for Welcome Back. He feels he was underpaid despite having worked hard to make both the films successful." The director refrained from sharing his point of view on the development. "No comments," was his response.
