The 30-year-old 'Aashiqui 2' star is in the role of a Noor, an orphan who grows up to become an artist in the movie.

"Aditya is playing a Kashmiri in the film. He comes from Mumbai. They both are world apart... He is a high voltage guy, who speaks fast. But the body language in Kashmir is different. We studied all of that together and it helped him to get into the skin of the character. We really worked hard," Abhishek told PTI.

The 'Kai Po Che' helmer dismisses that Aditya and Katrina Kaif's pairing in the movie is unusual.

"I don't know why people think so. They are just perfect. They look great onscreen. Both are very beautiful. They have chemistry. They looked like they are in love in the movie. Katrina and Aditya never starred together in a film before. But that's the thing. I try to do something which has not been done before."

'Fitoor', also starring Tabu, will release on February 12.
