Going by the debacle of all recent time leap films, does Kunal Kohli's 'Teri Meri Kahaani' have anything to fear?
Promos and songs in Kunal Kohli’s next, starring Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, suggest the film spans several eras — from 1910 to 1960 and then in 2012.

With films like Mausam and the more recent Dangerous Ishq that also portrayed similar time leaps failing miserably at the box office, one wonders if the producer is bothered at all about his project’s fate.
However, Kunal replies in the negative. He reasons, “I’m not worried; my film is very different. As Vidya Balan rightly said in Dirty Picture, ‘Picture sirf teen chezo ki wajah se chalti hai — Entertainment, entertainment and entertainment.’ Here every entertainment represents an era for my film. The film is not only about entertainment, it is only about love, love and love!”
He adds, “My films Fanaa and Hum Tum both were about time gaps. Both spanned five to 10 years. You just need to know how to handle the time.”
