Sonakshi Sinha on working with Imran Khan and on her tag of working only with older stars

'Imran's a cool guy'

There has been buzz about Sonakshi Sinha’s penchant to work with older actors ever since her debut with Salman Khan in Dabangg. Her co-stars have included Ajay Devgn (Son of Sardaar) and Akshay Kumar (Rowdy Rathore, Joker) and Salman again in Dabangg 2. In Milan Luthria’s upcoming film based on Mumbai’s underworld she again has Akshay Kumar as her co-star besides Imran Khan.

She says, “The film has a triangle so there are scenes with Imran as well. This is the first time I am acting with him. He’s a cool, composed guy and it is fun shooting with him.” Though unit folks felt she would be more comfortable with Akshay, her co-star of her earlier films, she took no time to get familiar on the sets with Imran as well.

Adds the actress, “With Akshay there is a comfort factor no doubt but I was equally at ease with Imran and we got along well.” The actress, however, prefers to remain immune to the buzz that she is comfortable only with the older lot or about her size issues. Or that she looks older, so younger actors prefer not to be paired with her. She has another project (Vikramaditya Motwane’s film) in which she stars with Ranveer Singh.u00a0According to her whether she is paired with a younger or older hero, as long as her work is appreciated and the film successful, eventually that is what matters.
