US Presidential candidate Kamala Harris has always been appreciated for her efforts to uplift the immigrant and help them live a respectful life in the US.
Like any other boss lady working in a male-dominated arena, Kamala has also been subjected to misogyny and sexism.
L.A.-based designer Sergio Hudson told the Hollywood Reporter, “As a lawyer and later an attorney general, that was her look."
He states, "It’s crisp, it’s professional, and she’s comfortable in something that has to work for her all day."
"Ultimately, she makes fashion work for her position, she doesn’t make her position work for fashion," adds Hudson.
Every suit worn by Kamala has a story to tell. She carefully picks the hues to create a statement or make references.
Hudson says that the brief he received was to make her be taken seriously as an elected official.
He adds, "The first couple of years, the suits I did for her were only black, only navy, only gray. Now I feel like she’s a little more comfortable, so we’re designing suits in colors."
Kamala has received backing from several celebs. These include Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, and Eminem to name a few.
Kamala's fashion has set the tone for fashion enthusiasts, who are in love with her pairing of suits.
While she continues to dabble in the typical shades of blue, keeping up with the country's theme, she does make exceptions from time to time.
If she manages to beat Donald Trump in the US Elections, her fashion will certainly be one of the most discussed aspects.
