In a monumental event, “Mahakumbh: Mahatmaya par Mahamanthan” organized by Bharat Express News Network in Prayagraj, the grandeur and spiritual essence of the Mahakumbh were celebrated with deep introspection and acknowledgment. The conclave was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Ministers Brajesh Pathak and Mr. Upendrra Rai, Chairman, Managing Director, and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express, which witnessed the presence of dignitaries, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Cabinet Ministers OP Rajbhar, Swami Chidanand Saraswati, Spiritual Head of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Dr Umakantanand Saraswati along with prominent saints, Akhara leaders, and senior administrative officials.

Sanatan Dharma stand unparalleled
In his keynote address, Mr. Upendrra Rai delved into the rich heritage of Sanatan Dharma and its unparalleled focus on "Moksha" (liberation), distinguishing it from the world’s 300,000 other religions. “The depth and magnitude of Sanatan Dharma stand unparalleled. While other religions navigate the paths of heaven and hell, Sanatan Dharma is the only one that ventures beyond to speak about Moksha a state beyond desires and aversions,” he stated.
Highlighting the inclusiveness of Hinduism, Mr. Rai remarked, “No religion in the world is as generous as Hinduism. The water of the Ganga is like nectar, symbolizing purity and liberation.” He further emphasized, “Even celestial beings residing in heaven have prayed for Moksha, acknowledging its difficulty. Attaining Moksha is rare even on Earth, achieved by revered figures like Meerabai, Sant Kabir, the Saptarishis, and other sages.”

CMD Upendrra Rai also shed light on the incorporation of modern technology in the organization of this Mahakumbh. “This year’s Mahakumbh promises to be the grandest ever in Prayagraj. With advanced technological enhancements, the arrangements have been meticulously planned to cater to the unprecedented scale of the event,” he added.
CMD Upendrra Rai’s Suggestion On India Hosting Olympics
Bharat Express CMD Upendrra Rai posed a question to Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, suggesting that Prime Minister Modi, who is already excelling in leading the nation, could consider proposing India’s bid to host the Olympics. He highlighted that Prayagraj, already hosting events of a scale even larger than the Olympics, could be a strong contender for such a prestigious endeavor.
Mr. Rai concluded by emphasizing the global significance of the Mahakumbh, calling it the world’s largest spiritual gathering. “During these 45 days, the number of people converging here will surpass the population of many nations and continents, making this event an unparalleled cultural and historical phenomenon,” he remarked.
