The protagonist of the story is Seginus, a time traveller and a ranger in the search and rescue department of the United Human Settlements (UHS), the solar system's human habitat with artificial planets, space stations, and other planets. Seginus travels from the year 31021 to the time of Jesus to find and rescue three missing time travellers, Diantha, Aleksy, and Leandros.
The story commences with Jesus Christ’s final prayer at Gethsemane and the ensuing arrest. When all the apostles forsook Jesus and ran away, Seginus, who wore only a linen cloth, was still following the Lord.
When the people try to catch him, Seginus will leave the linen cloth behind and flee naked. Seginus travelled to the time of Jesus not only because the missing rangers had travelled there before getting lost but also because he had a strong feeling that Jesus was calling him to communicate a vital message.
Furthermore, he wanted to meet Christ in order to get answers to his spiritual queries, which the adepts of his time could never answer. Jesus not only supports Seginus in his mission but also helps him unify with his long-lost lover and enlightens him about the true purpose of his life.
The author is successful in generating a concoction of feelings like fantasy, inquisitiveness, piety, excitement, and love with the readers. Though the story revolves around religious faiths, Ganesh has ensured not to hurt anyone’s belief.
Ganesh Shenoy is from Mangalore, Karnataka, and has secured many prizes and awards in painting contests. He is a World Record holder in creating miniature paintings. Ganesh has never sold his paintings for personal gain.
He always donates his paintings to philanthropic organizations so that they can sell them and utilize the proceeds for charity work. The entire profit from this book’s sale will also be used exclusively for charity.
