Ali Burrni, a Delhi-based Dj/Producer performed in sub-zero conditions at the first edition of Ladakh International Music Festival that took place at the Sonam Wangchuk Stadium last year in Leh, Ladakh. The event also featured performances by Indian Ocean, The Yellow Diary, Tetseo Sisters, Parashara, Faisal Ashoor and many other local artists.


Burrni is a DJ, producer and tattoo artist who has a passion for electronic music and intricate tattoos. He has shared the stage with electronic acts such as Adriatique, Goom Gum, Eagles & Butterflies, and Tale of Us, among others. His music is available on platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube.


As a teenager, Burrni was intensely involved in Delhi's nightlife scene, playing and producing his music in some of the city's most prestigious clubs. He is committed to his unique sound and has a proud feeling to be a part of the Ladakh International Music Festival organized by Picturetime & Indian Army.


Ali Burrni is also a tattoo artist and founder of Burrnink Studio. In the past he has collaborated with world-renowned tattoo artists such as Paul Booth, Anil Gupta and many more. Burrni advises those thinking about getting their first tattoo to "find an artist that you connect with, spends time thoroughly discussing the ideas with and whose work you truly appreciate.

"There's always a struggle," says Burrni. "A thing like tattoos was uncommon in India and when people started looking towards the West, it was like a huge culture shock and that led to the moment when we needed to re-invent the tattoo industry." He goes on to say that the most intriguing and enchanting aspect of getting a tattoo is the bond between the artist and client. "You work towards your talent and love for art, you hustle and convince people. There is no formula in art.

In addition to performing at the Ladakh International Music Festival, Burrni also participated in the first-ever international tattoo festival in India, held in Delhi. Over 100 tattoo artists from India and overseas attended this convention.

Burrni's background in both tattooing and music has allowed him to develop a unique style and sound that has roused interest of audiences around the world. His passion for his craft is visible in both his tattoo work and his music.
