Eknath Shinde Threatened with Bomb Attack, Police Increase Security

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has received a bomb threat, with an anonymous person warning of a potential attack on his vehicle. The threat, which was sent via email, was directed to several locations including the Goregaon Police Station, the Mantralaya (state secretariat), and JJ Marg Police Station. The email claims that a bomb could be planted on Shinde’s vehicle, raising concerns about his safety. Although early investigations suggest the threat may be a hoax, authorities are not taking any chances. The Mumbai Police`s cyber cell and intelligence teams are working to trace the email`s origin and identify the sender. In response, security around Eknath Shinde has been increased, with extra police presence and surveillance measures put in place. Authorities have reassured the public that a full investigation is ongoing to determine the authenticity of the threat.
