Here are five fun singles meet-ups you can attend this weekend in Mumbai

Do you feel too old school to slide into someone's DM? Fret not, because on any given weekend, there are a host of offline meet-ups for singles all over the city. And in case you've never been to one before and are wondering what it's all about, we've got you covered there, too.

"It's always great fun and we put a lot of work into keeping it that way," says Aryavrat Goenka, co-founder of UrbanMatch, a matchmaking app that holds singles' events all over the country. "We begin with letting the attendees mingle and then start with games that are sure to help break the ice, after which we once again let them talk to each other. The games are designed in a way that the initial awkwardness is bound to go away," he says.

Another great opportunity to mingle for the single, this one starts in the afternoon at 2 PM and is a casual event filled with food, drinks and conversations.

A one-and-a-half hour event held every Saturday at Dorango's, Bandra, the Cheers Coffee Meetup lets you meet new people over snacks and a refreshment drink, beginning with short conversations among each of the attendees and longer ones with the ones you're interested in. Starts at 7.30 pm.
