All of us want to see the world, and contrary to what Instagram influencers say, travelling requires money, not passion, drive or the will to chase your dreams. Still, every once in a morning, we find ourselves wishing we had a different view from our window while sipping coffee.

Which is where Window Swap comes in. This website collects crowd-sourced views from windows all over the world. An unusual idea, but as we clicked our way through the views, we found ourselves getting drawn in.

The homepage has an animated curtain over a window, and a button which you click. The first window showed us the view from Maria and Thomas' window in Tyrol, Austria - a lovely garden with a coffee table, two chairs, and birds flitting around. A long expanse of green grass stretched beyond, all the way to the hills.

We kept clicking, and looked through Art's Window in Voronezh, Russia; Olivochka's window in Mogilev, Belarus and Filip's window in Novi Sad, Russia. And then, we had to head into an office meeting.
