Mariyappan Thangavelu - Defending champion Mariyappan Thangavelu won a silver medal in the men's high jump T42 event at the Tokyo Paralympics. Mariyappan cleared 1.86m while the American gold winner Sam Grewe succeeded in soaring above 1.88m in his third attempt

Sharad Kumar - Sharad Kumar clinched a bronze medal in the men's high jump T42 event at the Tokyo Paralympics.  Kumar took the bronze with an effort of 1.83

Sumit Antil - Sumit Antil very comprehensively bagged a gold medal in the men's javelin throw (Sport Class F64) at National Stadium in Tokyo. Sumit Antil dominated the show from the beginning as he improved the world record three times in the final. He threw a monstrous throw of 68.55m in his fifth attempt to climb on the top of the podium

Pramod Bhagat - Reigning world champion Pramod Bhagat claimed a historic badminton gold medal in men's singles SL3 class after notching up a thrilling straight-game win over Great Britain's Daniel Bethell in the summit clash at the Tokyo Paralympics. As badminton made its debut at the Paralympics this year, world number 1 Bhagat, thus became the first Indian to win a gold medal in the sport

Manoj Sarkar - India shuttler Manoj Sarkar clinched a bronze medal after he defeated Japan's Daisuke Fujihara in the men's singles SL3 event at the Yoyogi National Stadium Court 3 at the Tokyo Paralympics. Sarkar defeated Fujihara 22-20, 21-13 in the bronze medal match. The entire match lasted for 47 minutes

Manish Narwal - Shooter Manish Narwal clinched a gold medal at the Tokyo Paralympics. The 19-year-old Narwal shot a total of 218.2, a Paralympic record, to claim the yellow metal

Singhraj Singh Adana - Singhraj Adana bagged the silver in the P4 Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 event at the Tokyo Paralympics. Adana, who had won the bronze in the P1 men's 10m air pistol SH1 event earlier, added a silver to his kitty with an effort of 216.7

Avani Lekhara - Indian shooter Avani Lekhara was on a roll as she first won a historic gold medal in the Women's 10m air rifle standing SH1 and later bagged a bronze medal in the R8 women's 50m rifle 3P SH1 event at the Tokyo Paralympics

Suhas Lalinakere Yathiraj - Suhas L Yathiraj went on to win a  historic silver medal after going down fighting against French top seed Lucas Mazur in the men's singles SL4 class final at the Tokyo Paralympics. The 38-year-old Noida district magistrate produced an entertaining performance before narrowly going down 21-15 17-21 15-21 to two-time world champion Mazur in a 62-minute summit clash

Krishna Nagar - Shuttler Krishna Nagar secured a memorable gold medal in badminton at the Tokyo Paralympics after notching a thrilling three-game win over Hong Kong's Chu Man Kai in the men's singles SH6 class final. The 22-year-old from Jaipur defeated his opponent 21-17 16-21 21-17 in the final to retain his unbeaten run at the Games

Nishad Kumar - Athlete Nishad Kumar clinched a historic silver medal in the men's high jump T47 event in the Tokyo Paralympics. Nishad Kumar cleared 2.06m to win the silver medal and also set an Asian record

Harvinder Singh - Indian archer Harvinder Singh created history when he won the bronze medal in the men's individual recurve at the Tokyo Paralympics. The Indian archer beat South Korea's Min Su Kim by 6-5 after a shoot-off as both archers shared the spoils in the five sets to find a podium finish. This was India's first medal in archery at the Games
