Reliving javelin superstar Neeraj Chopra's finest performances over the years

From an overweight teenager who took up sports merely for confidence to becoming the first Indian track and field athlete to win an Olympic medal, javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has come a long way. What the Indian Army Subedar from Haryana has already achieved at his age is nothing short of staggering. Tokyo Olympics 2020: Chopra became an overnight sensation when he clinched a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics. With his second throw, he marked 87.58 metres and won India's first track and field gold medal.

Asian Games 2018: Neeraj in 2018 scripted history after clinching gold medal at the Asian Games with a throw of 88.06 metres. 

World Athletics Championships 2022: The Olympic gold medalist created history by becoming the only Indian athlete to win a silver medal at the World Championships. He scripted history by ensuring a podium finish with an effort of 88.13m.

Stockholm Diamond League 2022: Chopra won the gold medal with a giant throw of 89.94m at the Diamond League 2022 in Sweden. With this throw, he bettered his personal best of 89.30m, set at the Paavo Nurmi Games in Finland.

Doha Diamond League: Chopra's throw of 88.67 crowned him again with a gold medal at the Doha Dimond League in 2023. Neeraj claimed gold with his first attempt.
