India and Bulgaria were locked in an oscillating battle of 56 boards divided over four sets at the 18th World Youth Bridge Championships in the Netherlands on Saturday.
Bulgaria took lead in set one (14-34). The Indians came back strongly to win the second set handsomely (52-20). The third set saw the Bulgarians fighting back (35-41).
Despite adverse swings, the Indian boys fought back to regain ground thanks to the 3N doubled contract made with an overtrick. The last set is set to be a cliffhanger.
