In 2014, Zaheer Khan founded a fitness and sports company in Mumbai named ProSport Fitness. The company offers physiotherapy services and fitness training.

In October 2015, Zaheer Khan announced his retirement from international cricket.

Zaheer Khan is the second most successful fast bowler in Indian cricket only behind Kapil Dev.

On April 24, 2017, Zaheer Khan announced on his Twitter account that he was engaged to Sagarika Ghatge. The couple got married on November 23, 2017.
