Leading the Royal Challengers Bangalore unit, Smriti Mandhana will be a major asset to ensure winning ways for her side. RCB were knocked out after the group stage matches of the inaugural edition. Mandhana will need to be ruthless and tactful in equal measure to finish on top this year

Harmanpreet Kaur impressed greatly in the tournament last year. She scored 281 runs in last year’s edition to help Mumbai Indians clinch their maiden title and it remains to be seen if Kaur can replicate her heroics this year.

Leading run-scorer of WPL 2023, Meg Lanning will play a pivotal role this year for the batting unit of Delhi Capitals. With 345 runs from just nine WPL matches, the former Australian skipper has been a proven performer in the international arena as well.
