Rohit Sharma, accompanied by his wife Ritika Sajdeh, wore a casual black shirt, at the party. There is no denying that Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has struggled to score runs in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The talismanic leader of the Mumbai Indians (MI) franchise has only smashed a single half-century in the IPL 2023.
Kieron Pollard is a name synonymous with the Mumbai Indians (MI). The West Indian all-rounder is a legend for the franchise and helped the side win five Indian Premier League (IPL) titles and two CLT20 Championships during his 13-year stint with the franchise.
Former India and Mumbai Indians spinner Harbhajan Singh was spotted attending the party as well. He holds the distinction of being the first Mumbai Indians captain in the franchise's glittering history. Besides, he would always remain the first Mumbai Indians captain to lift a trophy. It was under Harbhajan’s captaincy that the Mumbai Indians reigned supreme in the 2011 Champions League Twenty20 against all odds.
Cameron Green was among the attendees at the dinner hosted by skipper Rohit Sharma. After making a slow start to IPL 2023, Green quickly became a vital member of the MI lineup, repaying the faith put in him by the owners. In the seven matches he has played till now, the 23-year-old has scored 199 runs at an average of 49.75. Green has also picked up five wickets as well.
Mumbai have a plethora of issues to fix, however, one major issue is definitely the form of star Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav. He recently has been unable to find the form that arguably made him the world’s No. 1 T20I batter. In the two matches that he has played so far, Surya has scored 16 runs collectively. In the game against Chennai, he was dismissed after scoring just one run, as he was caught behind by skipper MS Dhoni.
