As the second and final test clash between India and South Africa is all set to be played in Cape Town, here are the four Indian batsmen to score century in Cape Town

Sachin Tendulkar

Topping the list is India's legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar. He has two centuries registered against South Africa in Cape Town. On January 2, 1997, Tendulkar scored his first Test century in Cape Town. He scored 169 runs in 254 deliveries with 26 fours laced his knock. His second test century came during the third test between India and South Africa on January 2, 2011. That day, the right-hander played 314 balls and scored 146 runs. His knock included 17 fours and 2 sixes

Mohammad Azharuddin

Former India captain Mohammad Azharuddin is the second batsman on the list. On January 2, 1997, Azharuddin registered his only Test century in Cape Town. The stylish right-hander smashed 115 runs in just 110 deliveries during the second test match between India and South Africa. His knock of 115 included 19 fours and 1 six

Rishabh Pant

On January 11, 2022, Rishabh Pant became the first Indian wicketkeeper-batsman to score a century against South Africa in Cape Town. With India struggling to score, Pant entered during the crucial time and smashed a stupendous 100 in 139 balls. His knock included 6 fours and 4 sixes

Wasim Jaffer

Opening the innings for India. Wasim Jaffer smashed an astounding 116 runs in 244 balls against South Africa in Cape Town. His knock of 116 included 15 fours. Jaffer's 116 helped India to post 414 runs on the scoreboard in the first innings
