The first match between the two cricketing giants was abandoned without a ball bowled due to rain. In the second T20I the "Men in Blue" will clash with the "Proteas" at St George's Park Cricket Ground. The match will start around 8.30 pm

Coming off with a 4-1 T20I series win against Australia, Team India will be confident enough to face South Africa ahead of the clash. Despite the absence of senior players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya, India defeated Australia under Suryakumar Yadav's captaincy. He will look to continue the winning momentum against South Africa too

After the first match was abandoned due to rain, youngsters like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad are left with fewer opportunities to boost their selection chances in India's T20 World Cup squad in 2024. They need to showcase their skills in the remaining matches to secure their spot in the  World Cup squad

Rinku Singh who impressed the cricket spectators with his willow during the Australia series is one of the main contenders for India's T20 World Cup squad. People will keep tabs on Rinku and will expect again to deliver stunning performances. He played a pivotal role for the Indian side in helping secure a win against Australia

The T20I number one bowler Ravi Bishnoi will be the key player for "Men in Blue" against South Africa. Bishnoi made a late comeback in the Australian series but ended by levelling the record of Ravichandran Ashwin in a T20I bilateral series
