The Israeli forces said they conducted these operations in a bid to arrest wanted terrorists, according to their statement.

Israel Defence Forces said they in coordination with Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and Israel Border Police conducted “wide-scale counterterrorism activity” which took place across Judea and Samaria overnight, with over 80 suspects arrested, including 63 Hamas terrorist operatives.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Health Ministry said that Israeli soldiers did not just use live ammunition, they also used armed drones and some of them were loaded with explosives.

The Palestinian Red Crescent, in a media statement, revealed its medics treated over 25 persons in Nur Shams and the majority was for gunshot wounds. They also said that ambulances with injured persons inside were detained as well.

Israel began its offensive against Gaza after the Palestinian group Hamas, which governs the Gaza Strip, launched a brutal attack on southern Israel which left at least 1000 persons dead and took over 200 others captive.

Israeli government since then imposed a complete siege on Gaza and cut off access to water, food, electricity and fuel for the strip’s 2.3 million residents. Over 3,700 persons have since been killed in the assault, Palestinian authorities said.

Protests across West Bank intensified following reports of Gaza hospital blast which killed hundreds of people.
